RenDx™ Configurable research kit

Overview

The RenDx Configurable Research Kit allows the user to define and detect specific targets of interest using the RenDx Multiplex Assay System. It contains all the reagents required to carry out SERRS analysis of up to 10 alternative targets from each of 100 samples.

The applications of this kit are numerous, but include the flexibility to add just a single target to an existing panel or to define a number of targets for the development of a new panel.

For example, a researcher may have a specific interest in a rare causative agent of gastroenteritis, not represented in the Gastroplex panel, and want to assess its frequency of occurrence as a secondary infection in residual samples. Renishaw Diagnostics can advise on suitable probe labels which can be detected by the SERRS analyser and on protocols to extend the assay in order to facilitate such research.

Alternatively, a researcher may be interested in development of a new panel for detection of causative agents of malaria, for example, or almost any series of other DNA targets. We are happy to discuss development and/or licensing agreements in order to facilitate such R & D projects.
