Renishaw Diagnostics rely on high calibre individuals to focus on bringing SERRS based Molecular Diagnostics technology to high volume clinical research, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics markets.
Production Technician
Renishaw Diagnostics require a Production Technician. The person in this role will be required to work with the laboratory manager to carry out calibration and maintenance of equipment within the laboratory areas, and support the general day to day activities within the lab.
Key outputs and deliverables:
- Maintaining the laboratory equipment, ordering systems and QC processes
- Supporting the product development programmes
- Calibration, maintenance and qualification of the laboratory equipment in the labs
- The maintenance of stores, the processing of incoming goods, QC testing and release of reagents
- Processing orders, cross referencing COSSH and suppliers before purchase
- Organising dispatch and logistics
- Product development support
- Manufacturing activities when required
Key requirements:
All applicants are required to have the following:
- Highers / A Levels (or equivalent) including two from Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good communication skills (both written and oral)
Although not essential it would be desirable if applicants have some of the following:
- A BSc in Biology or Chemistry
- Practical laboratory expertise, preferably from an ISO 13485 or ISO 9000/2001 accredited laboratories
- A working knowledge of GLP, GMP and / or GCP
